Poirier Repeats All-SUNYAC First Team Hoops Status

POTSDAM - SUNY Potsdam Senior Cortney Poirier of Moira was named to the All-SUNYAC Womens Basketball First Team the second second straight year after gaining Honorable Mention status in 2008.

Poirier averaged 17.7 points per game to lead the Lady Bears this season. The former Brushton-Moira Central standout had team highs in steals (69), rebounds (159) and blocks (12). She was second on the team with 58 assists.

Completing a stellar four-year career as the Lady Bears' all-time leading scorer, Poirier scored a career high 37 points in a January home win over New Paltz and had 13 games scoring 20 points or more.
