MORLEY - Funeral services for Mildred B. Henry, 93, of Morley will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Morley Wesleyan Church with Rev. James Bretzinger officiating. Burial will be in the Lawrence Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the Morley Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. Henry passed away on Thursday (March 4, 2010) at her home.

Surviving Mildred are a son, Paul and wife Sue Ann Henry of Brushton; a daughter, Donna and husband Gerald Hurlbut of Morley; two brothers; Loyal and wife Margie Bradley of Hannawa Falls; Lawrence and wife Gloria Bradley of Madrid; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Elaine June Henry in 1959; brothers Ray, James, Wayne and Junior Bradley; a sister, Wava Darling; and a grandchild.

Born Oct. 16, 1916 in Lisbon, she was the daughter of the late Evertte and Sadie (Winters) Bradley. She graduated from Lisbon schools.

She worked as a practical nurse at a hospital in East Islip, Long Island as well as the Potsdam Hospital.

She married Max R. Henry Dec. 10, 1939 at the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Henry predeceased her on Aug. 25, 1977. She ran Henry's Town Market in Madrid.

Mildred was a member of the Morley Wesleyan Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, a board member and member of the Gideon Auxiliary.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Seaway Youth for Christ, Hospice of the St. Lawrence Valley or to the Gideons.
