PENALTY BOX ATTENDANT
The Louisville Minior Hockey Lightning 14-Under team closed out the month of January by winning the its Hometown Tournament. The Lightning rallied from a 3-0 deficit to gain a 3-3 tie in its first game against the Tri-Town 18-U team. Emily Underwood scored a goal and helped set up another for Louisville while Kylee Lazore and Bailey Dillabough struck for the other goals and Jennifer Barney drew a solo assist. Laura Gonzalez had a goal and assist for Tri-Town while Tylena Leatherland and Jordyn Clouthier broke through for the other goals and Gracy Lyon earned an assist. Louisville then outscored Chazy 3-2 led by Emily Underwood with two goals. Courtney Manley contributed a goal and assist toward the win while Lauren Orosz and Jaclyn Spinner drew solo helpers. Louisville sealed the tournament title by downing Ridea SLT 2-1 in a game where all the scoring came in the first period.
