LEAVING THE SCENE - MASSENA - Village police charged Richard Hach, 68, of 800 McEwen Road, North Lawrence, with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The charges stemmed from an incident Wednesday morning when Hach reportedly backed into the doors of a car wash on East Orvis Street, causing significant damage, and then left the scene.

COUNTY COURT WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Melanie R. Spoon, 27, of 11 Cedar St., Massena, on a county court warrant at 8:50 a.m. Friday in the McDonald's parking lot. Police also ticketed Spoon for littering. Police said they stopped Spoon after she allegedly tossed a receipt out of her vehicle's window. She was the found to be the subject of the county court warrant.

LITTERING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kamal S. Shaaban, 62, of Ontario, Canada, with littering following a traffic stop at 3:10 p.m. Thursday on the Maple Street Extension.

DWI - POTSDAM - St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies charged Tiffany C. Priddle, 22, Ballston Spa, with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop Wednesday on Route 72 in the town of Potsdam, St. Lawrence County said. She registered a 0.19 percent blood alcohol content.
