Tammy L. (Chase) Duprey-Skidds


OGDENSBURG - Funeral services for Tammy L. (Chase) Duprey-Skidds, 41, of 219 Denny St., Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday (March 20, 2010) at 2 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Schirmer officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Ogdensburg Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tammy passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday (March 16, 2010) due to genetic heart disease.
Surviving are her parents, Martha and Bruce LeBarge; two daughters, Brittany Chase and Amber Duprey of Ogdensburg; three sons, Tyler Chase, stationed in Japan with the U.S. Marines, Brandon Duprey and Collin Chase of Ogdensburg; grandchildren Hayden and Jeremiah Dashnaw Jr.; three stepsons, John Skidds, Michael Skidds and his wife Melissa of Ogdensburg, Bryan Skidds and his wife Randi of Massena; step-grandchildren, Jenna Barkley, Michelle, Tyra, Jakob, Karson, Dawson, Madison, and Dameon Skidds; a sister, Kimberly Matthews and her husband Jamie of Hermon; her mother-in-law, Jean Skidds of Ogdensburg; a brother-in-law, Jim Skidds and his wife Michelle of Ogdensburg; a brother, Derrick LeBarge and his wife Marlene of Norwood; stepbrothers Marc LeBarge of Tucson, Ariz., Brian LeBarge and his wife Aimee of Russell, Paul Chase, address unknown, and Dwayne Chase of Maryland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her father, Paul Chase; husband, Roger Skidds; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Beulah Marshall; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Hazel Chase predeceased her.
Tammy was born on Dec. 2, 1968 in Ogdensburg, N.Y., a daughter of Paul Chase and Martha (Marshall) LeBarge. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1986.
A previous marriage to Steven Duprey ended in divorce. She then married Roger P. Skidds on Nov. 12, 2004 at the home of her parents. He predeceased her in May of 2009.
Tammy was a stay at home Mom, and enjoyed listening to country music, computers and her animals.
