Ron's Agridrainage, King Coat Sealing Rise

BRASHER FALLS - Ron's Agridrainage and King Coat Sealing pulled away to lopsided High School Division wins in Northern New York Box Lacrosse action from the Tri-Town Arena on Wednesday.

Ron's Agridrainage 24, Hacker's Sports 9: Pepsi Player of the Game Brady Simons notched four goals and an assist to lead a balanced attack in the win as Ron's reclaimed sole possession of first place heading into the final night of the regular season. Zach Baldwin (2 assists) and Kyle Montroy (1 assist) each scored four times while Styles Arquiett and Bobby Todd netted three goals apiece.

Player of the Game Brody Simons, Cody Kocsis (1 assist) and Dylan Patterson had two goals each in the losing cause.

King Coat Sealing 18, B-W Quick Stop 7: The second game of the night saw King Coat Sealing steadily pull away to a fourth straight win while sinking B-W Quick Stop from maintaining a share of the top spot. Player of the Game Danny Frohm had two goals. Nate Cole and Ian Lynch generated three goals and four assists each. Dalton Lottie (1 assist) and Tyler Kowalchuk also fashioned hattricks.

Goaltenders Brian LaBier and Andrew Fiske shared Player of the Game honors after withstanding a barrage of shots while working the crease on the losing side. Brady Helmer led the way offensively with two goals and one assist. Eric Lynch contributed a solo goal.

LaBier finished with 33 saves and two assists tending goal over the course of the two High School Division games while Fiske posted 31 stops.

Ron's Agridrainage and B-W Quick Stop will square off on Monday in a regular season finale that will decide the top seed for the upcoming High School Division playoffs.

The Elementary Division game saw Dow Electric outscore Adirondack Aikido 11-8 while the Whites surged to a 19-14 decision over the Reds in the Adult Division contest.

ELEMENTARY DIVISION

Dow Electric 11, Adirondack Aikido 8: Casey Hooper netted three goals in landing Player of the Game status for Dow Electric. Jake Sheets also broke through for three goals while Drew Rose tallied a goal and assist. Hunter Arquiett chipped in a solo goal and Cash Feeley turned aside seven shots backstopping the win.

Gabe Hornung scored twice as Player of the Game for Adirondack Aikido. Jayden Ashley generated three goals and an assist while Parker Hornung worked the crease for five saves.

ADULT DIVISION

Whites 19, Reds 14: Steven Tupper paced the winning attack with five goals. Brian Newtown fashioned three goals and two assists. Cody Kilcoyne finished with two goals and two helpers while David Hamelin notched 13 stops for the win.

Charlie Dullea led the Reds with four goals and two assists. Marshall Burninghausen found the mark three times while Ryan Cole managed two goals and an assist. Pat Corbine logged 13 saves in the loss.
