Nicholas J. Egloff II
LOWVILLE - Nicholas J. Egloff II, 43, of Voorheesville, formerly of Lowville, died Monday in Voorheesville.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville. A gathering at the Lowville VFW, 7752 W. State St., will immediately follow the memorial service.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the memorial service, at the funeral home.
He is survived his wife, Kim; a daughter, Shannon, who will be a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh; his father, Nicholas J. Egloff of Glenfield, N.Y.; a sister and her squeeze, Kathie Egloff and Daniel Fuller of Glenfield, N.Y.; a brother and his fiancé, Erich Sanford Egloff and Erin Tyner of West Los Angeles, Calif.; a niece, Myanna Gokey; a nephew, Wyatt Gokey; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his mother, Beverly J. Egloff, who died June 13, 2006.
Mr. Egloff was born on Feb. 2, 1967 in Lowville, N.Y., a son of Nicholas J. and Beverly Donnelly Egloff. He graduated from Lowville Academy in 1985 and from SUNY Potsdam in 1989.
On Feb. 4, 1989, he married Kimberley A. Perry in Potsdam, N.Y. After graduating from SUNY Potsdam, he moved to East Fishkill, where he worked for Granada Systems Designs.
Mr. Egloff was employed in the information technology departments of Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, N.Y., Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, N.Y., and St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica, N.Y. He was most recently employed as a Network Engineering Supervisor for MVP Healthcare in Schenectady, N.Y.
He was a member of the Order of Prometheus Service Fraternity. Mr. Egloff was a member of the Lowville Village Band, and played and sang with an Irish band called The Valley Bog Players.
Mr. Egloff enjoyed computers, reading science fiction, and medieval reenactments, and cooking.
