T-shirts Scam

CANTON - St. Lawrence University officials are warning area businesses to beware of a scam from a company called Jam Sports Marketing.
The company says it is working with a college to provide T-shirts to all incoming freshmen and is seeking advertisers. Jam Sports then delivers cheap T-shirts to the college that have the advertisers logos on it, but nothing about the college, according to university spokeswoman Macreena A. Doyle.
Several universities around the country have already been hit.
