A resident of the 1100 block of Congress Street reported to city police at 5:45 p.m. Saturday that the battery on his boat had been stolen.

A Vestal, N.Y. woman reported to city police at 5:04 p.m. Saturday that some items had been stolen from her car while parked in the 500 block of Anthony Street.

Tanya T. Hazelton, 31, of 515 Ritchie Road, DeKalb Junction, was issued a parental responsibility citation Saturday afternoon. Police explained that meant that she was being ticketed because her child, who should have been charged, was too young. Police said the ticket was the result of complaints that there were children on bicycles in the skate park.

A Gouverneur woman reported to city police at 3:29 p.m. that some items had been stolen from her while she was staying at 1020 New York Ave.

A resident of the 800 block of Ford Street reported to city police at 2:43 p.m. that his cell phone had been stolen while at Nig's Tavern.

City police received reports of a two-car accident with property damage on Saturday at 11:04 a.m. According to city police, a parked vehicle owned by Orinda D. LaShomb, 56, of 422 Gates St., was struck by another vehicle driven by Edith F. Charleston, 60, of 707 Ogden St., at Mrs. Charleston's residence. No injuries or charges were reported.

An employee of Stewart's Shop Inc., 703 Ford St., reported an instance of shoplifting to city police on Saturday at 9:49 a.m.

Natasha M. Tracy, 20, of 623 State St., Apt. 1, was charged by city police on Saturday at 9:38 a.m. in the 200 block of Paterson Street, on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear on a prior charge of endangering the welfare of a child. City police say she was arraigned in city court and released on her own recognizance.

Harlow G. Perry Jr., 33, of 708 Morris St., was charged at his residence by city police on Saturday at 8:09 a.m., on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear on a prior charge of second-degree criminal contempt. According to city police, he was arraigned in city court and released on his own recognizance.

Eric R.M. Miller, 20, of 706 Bigelow St., was charged by city police on Saturday at 1:10 a.m. in the 100 block of Oak Street, on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear on prior charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree attempted assault. City police say he was arraigned in city court and released on his own recognizance.

A Franklin Street woman reported bicycles stolen from her residence to city police on Friday at 7:54 p.m.

A state Highway 37 man reported to city police on Friday at 3:55 p.m., that a cell phone and $101 in cash was taken from his vehicle while parked in the 1000 block of South Water Street.

A Belmont Courts woman reported to city police on Friday at 3:25 p.m., that a cell phone had been stolen from her apartment.

Lisa A. Chase, 37, of 419 Lincoln Ave., was issued a parking summons by city police on Friday at 2:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Mansion Avenue, for a no parking violation.

City police say the summons is returnable on Sept. 6.

Price Chopper in the Gateway Plaza reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill to city police on Friday at 11:23 a.m.

Nice-n-Easy, 301 Champlain St., reported to city police on Friday at 3:09 a.m., that a subject wearing a black and white hoodie took a 30-pack of Budweiser and left without paying. An investigation continues.

A Clark Street resident reported criminal mischief to his vehicle to city police on Thursday at 10:15 p.m.

Timothy J. Liebfred, 65, of 514 Crescent St., Apt. 3, was charged at his residence by city police on Thursday at 9:42 p.m., on a city court bench warrant for second-degree harassment.

According to city police, he was arraigned in city court and released on his own recognizance and issued a no-harassment order of protection for the victim.
