The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club will be conducting its Annual NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition on Monday, September 6 (Labor Day) at Father Martin Park at 9 a.m. The event is open to boys and girls ages six-15 competing in 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15 divisions separately. Age is based on your age as of December 31, 2010. The 6-7 year old division is new this year to allow younger children to have fun and learn the basic football fundamentals in a non-contact environment. All participants are asked to wear soft-soled gym shoes (sneakers) as NO cleats are allowed.

Punt, Pass and Kick tests competitors' accuracy and distance in punting, passing, and kicking. Winners from the clubs local competitions will advance to the Sectional Competiton held in Central New York later in the fall. Competitors who claim a Sectional Championship have the chance to complete for the Buffalo Bills Team Championship at a Bills game at Ralph Wilson Stadium during the season. With more than four million boys and girls from around the country taking part annually, the NFL PPK is one of the largest youth sports participation programs.

The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club has been a long-time participant in Punt, Pass, and Kick dating back to the late 60's when the contest was co-sponsored by Collins Ford.
