Shelly On Board

POTSDAM - William M. Shelly, Potsdam, has joined the board of directors of the Development Authority of the North Country.
Gov. David A. Paterson appointed him to succeed Robert R. Sturtz, Watertown, whose term expired after more than eight years on the board.
Mr. Shelly, who is District 3 business representative for International Union of Operating Engineers Local 545, Syracuse, will hold the seat until Oct. 17, 2011.
