Potsdam junior goalkeepers Caitlin Titus (Jamesville) and Kim Callahan (Centereach) each played a half and made one to team up for the shutout. Lawrence finished with three saves for the Express (0-2).

The Saints, now 2-1, scored with 8:05 to play in regulation as sophomore Stephanie Sayward scored her third of the year off a corner kick and had an opportunity to tie the game on another corner with inside two minutes to play, but Plattsburgh goalie Alina Greiser knocked the corner kick away and Alex Troli's attempt to volley the rebound out of the air and into the net went over the crossbar.

The Cardinals broke the scoring ice with just 2:02 to play in the half as freshman forward Kayla Rabideau got a step on a Saint defender on the right side of the penalty area and placed a shot inside the far post as she was sliding to the turf.

Junior Lindsey Keyser set up Pageau's eventual game winning goal with a cross inside the box after a quick run from midfield at the 58:17 mark.

Alina Greiser finished with five saves for the Cardinals while Abby van Geldern had seven stops for the Saints.
