Memorial services for Minerva I. Bohall, 85, of Lead Mine Road, Gouverneur, will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bohall passed away on Sept. 8, 2010 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family and the helpful care of Hospice.

Mrs. Bohall is survived by three daughters, Brenda Wetmore of Cabot, Vt., and Deborah Belden and Jacqueline Washburn, both of Gouverneur; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Emma Wood of Pamelia and Rena Covell of Riverside, Calif.

Mrs. Bohall was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Bohall was born on April 3, 1925 in Sterlingville, the daughter of William and Nora (Burrell) Barlow. She attended local schools.

She married Jack Belden in Watertown in 1949. He passed away in 1969.

She later married Gerald Bohall in Black River in 1986. He passed away in 2003.

Mrs. Bohall worked for many years at Fort Drum in the housekeeping department.

Mrs. Bohall spent her winters in Nobleton, Fla., and her summers on the St. Lawrence River until the death of her husband, Gerald. She then moved to Millsite Manor in Hammond and later to St. Joseph's Home in Ogdensburg.

Mrs. Bohall enjoyed music, furniture refinishing and spending time with her family.

Donations may be made in her memory to St. Lawrence County Hospice.
