Laura A. Jennings Scinta

ALEXANDRIA BAY - Laura A. Jennings Scinta, 41, of Baldwinsville, N.Y., died Wednesday, Sept. 8 at SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, N.Y.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 at St. Roman Catholic Church, Alexandria Bay. Burial will be at St. Cyril's Cemetery.

She is survived by her parents; her son, Daniel, age 17, and two daughters, Kaitlin, 13, and Haley, 10; five brothers and their spouses, Michael and Josie, Watertown, Richard and Carol, Watertown, Donald and Sandy, Black River, James and Kathy, Liverpool, and Phillip, Jr. and Sharon, Memphis, N.Y.; three sisters and their spouses, Barbara and Jerry Kroeger, Ogdensburg, Joan and Jeff Hewitt, Liverpool, and Nancy and Graydon Wheeler, Jordon, N.Y.

Laura was born Dec. 26, 1968 in Gouverneur, N.Y., the daughter of Phillip, Sr. and Jean Cassaw Jennings of Alexandria Bay. Laura graduated from Alexandria Central School.

She worked several different jobs and was a stay at home mom for the past few years. A marriage to Joe Scinta ended in divorce.

Memorial contributions may be made in Laura's name to the American Cancer Society of Jefferson County.
