FELONY DWI - BRASHER FALLS - St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies charged Jon P. Perrier, 30, of 101 Trotter Court, Youngsville, N.C., with a felony count of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 3:56 a.m. Christmas Day on state Route 11C in the town of Brasher.
He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine. Police said he had a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent. He was also ticketed for operating a vehicle with no plate lights.
Perrier's DWI charge was a felony because he had a 2003 conviction for DWI, deputies said. He was arraigned in Brasher Town Court and released under the supervision of the probation department.
PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Yvonne M. Cook, 18, of 200 Cook Road, Hogansburg, and Carley N. Bero, 21, of 7 Ransom Road, Hogansburg, with petit larceny after they allegedly shoplifted $45.88 worth of merchandise from Walmart on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.
CONSPIRACY - MASSENA - Village police charged Matthew W. Stewart, 33, of 100 Water St., Massena, and Scott D. Donnelly, 21, also of 100 Water St., Massena, with sixth-degree conspiracy and two counts of petit larceny. The two men reportedly developed a scheme that allowed them to steal approximately $400 from a SeaComm ATM machine by making another transaction on a previous user's account.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Cassandra J. Love, 20, of 221 East Orvis St., Apt. 4, Massena, with disorderly conduct on the afternoon of Christmas Eve after she reportedly showed up for work at the Valehaven Home for Adults several hours late and then got into an argument with her supervisor. She reportedly refused to leave the Valehaven Home despite several requests from staff and police.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged Clarence C. Robinson, 52, of 351 East Orvis St., Apt. D, Massena, with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana on Dec. 20 at his residence.
FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Denise M. Romaniello, 35, of County Route 14, Chase Mills, for following too closely at 6:30 p.m. Christmas Eve on state Route 37.
STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jane E. Young, 46, of Wallace Road, Norfolk, for a stop sign violation at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 21 following a traffic stop near the intersection of Sherwood Drive and Highland Avenue.
STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Barbara A. Gibson, 68, of Allen Drive, Massena, for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop at 10:10 a.m. Dec. 21 near the intersection of Grove Street and Ridgewood Avenue.
