DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Marcus A. Keleher, 28, of Potsdam with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday on Bay Street. He was also charged with reckless driving and ticketed for speeding (66 mph in a 30 mph zone. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.16 percent, double the 0.08 percent legal threshold for driving while intoxicated in the state.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed John G. Tate, no age or address provided by police, for speed in zone (45/30 mph zone) following a traffic stop at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday on Outer Maple Street.

RED LIGHT - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Louke Oakley, 22, of Whitby, Ont., for illegally passing a red light following a traffic stop at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Sandstone Drive and Market Street. Police allege Oakley failed to stop for a steady read light.

RED LIGHT - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kenneth E. Simon III, 21, of Norwell, Mass., for illegally passing a red light following a traffic stop at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Main Street and Pierrepont Avenue after he allegedly passed through a steady red light.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Matthew E. Feuerherm, 25, of Cortland with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday after an officer observed a vehicle doing donuts in the Save-A-Lot parking lot.

INSUFFICIENT TAIL LAMPS - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Thomas J. Picciott ,18, of Brewerton for operating a vehicle with insufficient tail lights following a traffic stop at 11:13 p.m. Tuesday on Clarkson Avenue.

BURGLARY - WADDINGTON - Canton-based state police charged Andrew R. Jensen, 17, of 242 Harper Road, Waddington, with second-degree burglary Tuesday. The charge stemmed from an incident reported to police at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 19.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION - MASSENA - Village police charged Daniel J. Dubois, 20, of 29 Depot St., Massena, with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate headlights at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday on the Maple Street Extension.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Mikle N. Lavare, 24, of Nicholville with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 420 in the town of Massena. He was also ticketed for operation of a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps and operation of a vehicle with a trailer with no registration plate.

ACCIDENT - HELENA - Massena-based state police responded to a two-vehicle collision at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 37 near the Bernard Keenan Road in the town of Bombay. Troopers identified the drivers of the two vehicles as Joanie Benedict, 23, of Brasher Falls and Paxton A. Schwender, 22, of Massena. Helena Fire and Tri-Town Rescue responded to the accident scene.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Crystal A. Richards, 29, of 5893 County Route 14, Chase Mills, with second-degree criminal contempt Tuesday. Troopers said the charge stemmed from an incident reported at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday in the town of Lawrence.

UNINSPECTED VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Lisa M. Sorden, 36, of Massena for an uninspected vehicle and unnecessary smoke at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday on Martin Street.
