BRASHER FALLS - St. Lawrence Central swept to victories in a boys-girls doubleheader against Norwood-Norfolk Friday night in the Larries gym.

ST. LAWRENCE 68, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 35

The Larries (8-6, 6-0) clinched at least a tie for the first North Division title with a win over Norwood-Norfolk in Brasher Falls.

Zane Ramsdell scored 18 points with 10 rebounds for SLC. Regan Dunbar scored 14 points with 11 rebounds and Nate Cole added 13 points. Donovan Patraw chipped in 10 points.

Nick Stewart led the Flyers (3-13, 1-4) with 11 points.

ST. LAWRENCE 52, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 37

Lindsey Thayer scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to send the Larries (4-12, 1-4) past Norwood-Norfolk in a North Division game in Brasher Falls.

Caitlin Grow grabbed 10 rebounds for the Larries. Mikenzie Jock led the Flyers (1-13, 0-5) with 17 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

POTSDAM 66, GOUVERNEUR 15

Josh Adams scored 25 points for the Sandstoners in a rout of Gouverneur (3-12, 0-7) in a Central Division contest in Potsdam.

Mike Chambers added 16 points for Potsdam (14-2, 5-1). Konnor Bigwarfe scored 14 points for the Sandstoners.

MASSENA 66, SALMON RIVER 25

Zach Rusaw led the Red Raiders (14-3) with 18 points in a win over Salmon River in a nonleague game in Massena. Josh Hynes led the Shamrocks (0-15) with 12 points.

CANTON 55, COLTON-PIERREPONT 42

A 21-6 run in the third quarter helped Canton (7-9) extend a seven-point halftime lead to 22 points in a nonleague win over the Colts in Colton.

Garrett Kinnen led Canton with 22 points and Alex Bonno paced the Colts (4-11) with 18.

H-D 57 HEUVELTON 46

Dylan Amo’s first basket of the game broke the all-time scoring record at Hermon-DeKalb and the Demons went on to a 57-46 win over Heuvelton in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division boys basketball game Friday night.

Amo, who finished with 15 points for the Demons (9-5 overall, 6-3 division) passed Andy Bardeschewski’s school record of 1,178 points. Bardeschewski graduated in 1994.

Macauley Snell led the Demons with 18 points and Zack Cleveland tossed in 16.

Dedrick Johnson led Heuvelton (10-6, 7-3) with 25 points.

HARRISVILLE 60, MORRISTOWN 52

Tanner Duggan scored 20 points for the Pirates (10-6, 8-2) in a West Division win over Morristown in Harrisville. Wayne Best added 15 points for Harrisville.

Geoff Baldwin paced the Green Rockets (7-9, 3-7) with 16 points and Dakota Marshall tossed in 15.

CHATEAUGAY 62, ST. REGIS FALLS 44

Micheal Boyea scored 25 points for Chateaugay (17-0, 11-0) in a win over the Saints in an East Division game in St. Regis Falls.

Erik Fleury scored 18 points and Michael Trombley tossed in 10. Caleb Green and Timmy Wheeler each scored 14 for the Saints (8-8, 5-5).

MADRID-WADDINGTON 78, EDWARDS-KNOX 48

Matt Kendall sparked the winning effort with 20 points as Madrid-Waddington (14-1, 9-1) defeated the Cougars in an East Division game in Russell.

Alex Brock added 17 points while Zach Marcellus scored 15 and Colin O’Bryan added 12. Ben Fuller netted 16 points and Ryan Meullier tossed in 13 for the Cougars (9-6, 5-5).

TUPPER LAKE 63, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 43

Tupper Lake (6-10, 4-6) built a 32-16 halftime lead and defeated the Panthers in an East Division game in Parishville.

Jordan Garrow scored 19 points with Morgan Stevens added 15 for the Lumberjacks. Mitch Keniston tossed in 13.

Trevor Zellweger led the Panthers (4-13, 1-10) with 18 points. Tyler Gallagher chipped in 17.

OFA 68, MALONE 62

Breton LaRose scored 30 points and Pat Cosmo and Matt Piercey each added 13 points as the Blue Devils (11-4, 4-2) defeated Malone in a Central Division game in Ogdensburg.

Jon Dunlavey scored 15 points and Mitch Gallagher added 14 for the Huskies (8-8, 1-6). Austin Dunlavey scored 12 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MADRID-WADDINGTON 44, EDWARDS-KNOX 36

Bridget Beldock scored 16 points for the Yellow Jackets (10-4, 7-2) in an East Division win over Edwards-Knox in Russell.

Katie Marcellus scored 10 points for Madrid-Waddington. Claire Davis led the Cougars (4-11, 4-6) with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Madison Tressider tossed in 10.

MASSENA 51, GOUVERNEUR 36

Marissa Manley’s 18-point effort helped Massena (12-4, 5-1) defeat the Wildcats in a Central Division game in Gouverneur. Alisha Jacobs added 11 points for Massena. Kirstin Roberts led Gouverneur (4-11, 2-4) with 15 points and Megan Morrow tossed in 11.
