DOG AT LARGE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kristopher F. Richards, 25, of Potsdam for dog at large at 1:36 a.m. Monday on Cherry Street. Police said two dogs owned by Richards were attempting to gain access to a rabbit cage on Cherry Street.
RED LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Patrick M. Remington, 55, of Parishville for a red light violation at 10:09 a.m. Monday on Elm Street. Police said Remington was ticketed after being observed operating a town of Parishville pickup truck and traveling through two steady red signals on Elm Street.
RED LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Curtis G. Holloman Jr., 20, of Albany was ticketed for passing a steady red signal at 11:56 a.m. Monday on Market Street.
UNSAFE LANE CHANGE - Village police ticketed Loretta K. Sharpstene, 84, of Russell for making an unsafe lane change following a traffic stop at 2:25 p.m. Monday on Market Street. Police said Sharpstene turned left onto Market Street from May Road and then attempted to merge right striking another vehicle in the outer lane.
FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Jessica L. Savage, 22, of Canton was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian following a traffic stop at 7:09 p.m. Monday on Main Street. Police said Savage was observed traveling through the crosswalk in front of the Roxy Theater nearly striking a pedestrian in the westbound lane.

0136 Received a report of two dogs attempting to gain access to a rabbit cage on Cherry Street and acting aggressively. Patrols responded and the owner of the dogs was issued a ticket.
0346 Patrols responded to a burglar alarm activation at a local business.
0625 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.
09:31 - 09:51 a.m. Patrol out downtown on foot beat for parking enforcement.
10:09 a.m. Traffic summons issued for VTL violation.
10:31 a.m. Patrol dispatched to National Grid on Pine Street after Central Dispatch reported receiving a 911 hang up call from this location.
10:38 a.m. Patrol dispatched to property damage accident on Park Street.
11:05 a.m. Management at Potsdam IGA requested assistance in locating the owner of a car in their parking lot that is blocking a loading zone.
11:19 a.m. Form completed for lost trailer plate for resident to take to the DMV for replacement purposes.

6:30 p.m. Vehicle stop conducted by patrol in Market Street. Verbal warning issued to motorist for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
7:09 p.m. Traffic summons issued for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
7:12 p.m. Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call. Patrol also responded with key to facilitate entry.
7:30 p.m. Attempt to locate person on Maple Street.
8:11 p.m. Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call in Norfolk.
8:17 p.m. German Shepherd dog at large complaint in the vicinity of Main and Cedar streets. Patrols were unable to locate the dog.
9:03 p.m. Harassment complaint at Racquette Road.
