ADAMS CENTER — After being closed for more than a year, Mimi’s Depot Cafe, 12249 Depot St., will reopen next week.

Owner Linda A. Maguire said the restaurant, which will feature homemade burgers and sandwiches, will open when she acquires a permit from the state Department of Health. The cafe will offer a full menu of homemade food with affordable prices for families, she said.

“Families sometimes have a hard time going out to eat because it costs too much, so I’ll be offering affordable prices,” she said.

Hours planned for the cafe are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. It will be closed Mondays.
