An early-bird drawing for a $1,000 Expo prize, donated by the Oddfellows and Moose Lodge 814, will take place at 8 p.m. today at Plan B, formerly Myer’s Pub, 17 Commerce St., Ogdensburg. Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Expo prize giveaway tickets are currently on sale for $10 and will put buyers in the running to win prizes March 25 at the Expo.

You do not need to be present to win, but you will be responsible for paying taxes on winnings.

A list of the top six prizes, with sponsors, is as follows:

First prize - A two-year lease, all maintenance included, on a 2012 Dodge Durango, courtesy of Upstate Dodge Dealers

Second and third prize - A $1,500 gift certificate from Gardner’s Flooring and Furniture

Fourth prize - A family membership from Northern Physical Therapy

Fifth prize - A $1,000 gift certificate from Carbino’s Jewelers

Sixth prize - A $1,000 Series E savings bond donated by NBT Bank.

Watch for volunteers selling tickets today at Price Chopper and Wal-Mart, both located on Ford Street Extension.

Proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
