MASSENA — A woman and man, both from Massena, each were charged Friday evening with falsely reporting an incident and petit larceny.

Village police said Patience M. Dissottle, 19, of 153 E. Orvis St., and Benjamin R. Tipping, 26, of 155 E. Orvis St., each claimed falsely that an Xbox video game was stolen from her home. While there, they also were accused of holding down a visitor, Nick Perry, 23, Colton, and taking $255 in cash from him.
