WADDINGTON - The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association will once again host its annual Opening Day Walleye Derby. The event will be held on May 5 from 6am-3pm at the boat launch at Whitaker Park in Waddington with the scales opening at noon. The entry fee is $50 per 2 person team with an optional $20 per team for the big fish contest. There will also be a $10 Conservation Fee for nonmember teams.

As always, the awards ceremony will be held at the JC River Run Bar and Grill at 4pm. Signup locations are: Massena Bait and Tackle on East Hatfield Road and Steve’s Stop and Shop in Louisville.
