LOUISVILLE Sterling A. Monroe, 82 of Whalen Road, Louisville, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at his home.
Sterling was a dairy farmer operating the family farm and retired in 1995. Sterling was born on May 23, 1929 in Williamsburg, Ontario the son of Oral and Martha (Pruner) Monroe.
Sterling spent his entire life farming on the family dairy farm on the Whalen Rd. in Louisville. Sterling is survived by two sisters and a brother, Beverly Donnelly of Massena, and Rita Warnock of Louisville, Ralph Monroe of Massena, several nieces and nephews. Sterling was predeceased by his brother Carl and his mother Martha in 2007 with whom he resided with.
Friends and family may call on Monday (April 16, 2012) from1until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Deacon Rick Littlejohn will officiate at the service for Sterling. Interment will be Louisville Community Cemetery.
