City police on Friday charged Nathan P. Ryan, 26, of 1708 Ohio St., Apt. 34, with petit larceny and second-degree falsifying business records.

Mr. Ryan was accused of, on April 1, stealing at least $200 from the cash register at Subway, 144 Eastern Blvd., where he worked, and trying to cover it up by failing to input cash sales or voiding them.

He is to appear in City Court.
