■ LOWVILLE — The Lewis County Planning Board meeting scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday has been canceled, as the only item on the agenda — Lowville town zoning amendments concerning renewable and alternative energy — was withdrawn for further review and correction.

■ The state Department of Transportation said drivers should expect delays on Route 3 over the Black River between Huntington Street and Marble Street starting Monday. DOT will install temporary signals to create alternating one-way traffic to complete deck work, expected to last until late fall.
