Michael J. Paul, 31, of 705 Starbuck Ave., was charged by Watertown police at 11:55 p.m. Sunday at his residence with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree criminal contempt.
Police said he violated the terms of a City Court order of protection by entering the home of Hillary A. Collins, 537 Davidson St., about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
He was arraigned Monday morning before City Judge Eugene R. Renzi, who sent him to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building without bail.
Mr. Paul was convicted of second-degree criminal contempt June 29 in City Court.
