City police charged Carmen D. Nichols, 30, of 19 Madison St., Apt. 4, Carthage, with disorderly conduct following an incident early Saturday on the 1300 block of State Street.

Ms. Nichols reportedly yelled obscenities in front of the State Street location, causing a crowd to gather to tell her to quiet down, a request that she reportedly declined. She was arrested at 12:51 a.m. Saturday.

She was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where she was processed and released with an appearance ticket for City Court.
