FAILURE TO YIELD - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Joseph Daniel Amerosa, 21, of Kunkletown, Pa., for failure to yield right of way at the intersection following a traffic stop at 9:24 a.m. Tuesday on Pine Street. Police said an officer observed a vehicle fail to yield at the intersection of Market Street and Sandstone Drive.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Matthew S. Korn, 23, of East Patchogue for speeding (46/30) following a traffic stop at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday on Lawrence Avenue.

STOP SIGN VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Jennifer L. Gabbey, 24, of Corfu for failure to stop at a stop sign following a traffic stop at 11:56 p.m. Tuesday on State Street.

0200 Received a report of a stop sign that had been struck and bent over on Clarkson University.

0445 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call.

0450 Vehicle towed for unpaid parking tickets.

0800 Report of a larceny at a residence on State Street.

0829 Potsdam Rescue and Police were dispatched to Garden Street for a Lifeline call, unknown emergency.

0911 A record check was completed for another police agency for employment purposes.

0914 A Department of Motor Vehicles form was completed for a town resident who lost a trailer plate.

0921 Police were requested to respond to an apartment in a local housing complex, where damage was observed to one of the apartments following an eviction.

0924 Traffic stop. Ticket issued.

1202 A record check was completed for another Police agency for employment purposes

1250 Potsdam Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a building fire on 11B.

1406 Report of a trash can in the roadway blocking traffic on Market Street near Cottage. Patrol responded and removed debris from the roadway.

1409 Potsdam Rescue was dispatched to Norwood for a 51 male sick call

1611 Received a report of a possible intoxicated driver on Pierrepont Avenue. Officer responded and determined that the operator was not intoxicated.

1838 Traffic stop on Market Street. Verbal warning issued.

1857 Traffic stop on Clarkson Avenue. Verbal warning issued.

2026 Officer responded to a burglary alarm at a local business.

2030 Received an aggravated harassment complaint.

2050 Traffic stop on Grove Street. Verbal warning issued.

2058 Received a report of a missing dog. Patrols advised to be observant.

2126 Traffic stop on Clinton Street. Ticket issued.

2150 Traffic stop on Market Street. Verbal warning issued.

2212 Traffic stop on Main Street. Verbal warning issued.

2321 Received a report of a loose dog near the Sunoco on Market Street.

2350 Officer completed an equipment inspection.

2356 Traffic stop on Elm Street. Ticket issued.
