The Jefferson County Sheriffs Department added two charges against a Woodville man Tuesday in connection with his arrest April 9 in an incident at a fishing access area of South Sandy Creek in the town of Ellisburg.
Justin M. Grandjean, 20, of 8418 Lyng Road, Woodville, initially was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of burglar tools and possession of marijuana and fireworks. Since the arrest, he has been an inmate in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
He is accused of breaking into a vehicle owned by Kenneth F. Kendall III, 31, address not provided, and of stealing items.
The charges added Tuesday at fourth-degree grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Several credit cards were stolen from the Kendall auto, deputies now allege, and he is accused of involving a 13-year-old boy in the break-in.
