An employee of the Walmart store on Route 11 in the town of LeRay was charged with petit larceny by state police Wednesday after she was accused of stealing merchandise.

Shannon R. Bergmeyer, 36, of 239 Ward St., is summoned to arraignment in town of LeRay Court.

Police said she was shown in the store’s surveilance video system taking numerous items, mostly food products.
