OGDENSBURG - A January vehicle fire in the city has resulted in criminal charges for town of Oswegatchie man.

Daniel J. Carter, 23, of 5870 County Route 6, was arrested Friday and charged with felony third- and fourth-degree arson, felony second-degree criminal mischief and felony first-degree criminal contempt, Ogdensburg police said Friday.

The charges stemmed from a Jan. 17 vehicle fire at 712 Champlain St., Ogdensburg.

He was arraigned in St. Lawrence County Court and sent to county jail, Canton, without bail.
