RECKLESS DRIVING - MASSENA - Village police charged Trevor J. Secore, 18, of 9378 state Route 56, Massena, with reckless driving and ticketed him for speed in zone Friday as part of an investigation into an incident that took place earlier that afternoon. Village police had also charged Eric J. Deshane, 18, of 733 state Route 37C, Massena, with reckless driving and unauthorized possession of fireworks at 3:23 p.m. Friday on Sycamore Street. Police said they observed Deshane following another vehicle, driven by Secore, at a high rate of speed in an area where a school bus was discharging passengers. Deshane was also ticketed for speeding. During the traffic stop, Deshane was found in possession of several fireworks, including bottle rockets and fire crackers.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged AA Calman-Smith, 28, of 20 Cherry St., Potsdam, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a vehicle with a suspended registration and operation of a vehicle with no insurance following a traffic stop at 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Willow Street. Calman-Smith was additionally ticketed for operation of a vehicle with switched plates and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed ticketed Annie D. Vinyard, 62, of Town Line Road, Hermon, for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 9:05 a.m. Saturday on East Hatfield Street.

SCHOOL BUS STOP - Village police ticketed Brandon L. Sheets, 31, of Massena for failure to stop for a school bus Friday in connection with an incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Robert S. Jock, 45, of Ogdensburg for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 9 a.m. Friday on Andrews Street.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Stephen F. Slater, 57, of Massena for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights following a traffic stop at 11:01 p.m. Thursday on Park Avenue.

LEAVING THE SCENE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed James A. Berry, 20, of Massena for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely following an incident at 10:58 p.m. Thursday on Main Street.
