MASSENA – Mrs. Florence A. Yaddow, 86, of 9 Laurel Ave, passed away Tuesday morning, April 24, 2012 at Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since April 13th.

She born Fleur-Ange Anna Villeneuve on April 3, 1926 in Hull, Quebec, the daughter of the late Honore and Marie-Rose LaHaie Villeneuve. She attended schools in Hull and received her GED through night school. She later graduated from the Massena School of Business. In September 1951, she married Kenneth Yaddow at the Church of the Sacred Heart. He tragically predeceased her on March 27, 1960.

Florence was a bookkeeper first with Cappione Oldsmobile and then with Bob Todd Oldsmobile until her retirement in 1989. She was communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart, enjoyed watching game shows and playing Rummi-kub with her daughter.

Florence is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Derouchie and her companion, Charles Hebert of Massena; her beloved granddaughters, Christina and Terry Kellison; Jackie Keeper and her companion Kevin Favreau; her great grandchildren, Aryana and Kelsy Kellison and Rianna and Peyton Keeper; her brother, Rene Villeneuve of Gatineau, Quebec; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her foster parents, Gladys and Frank Bowser; her sister and brother-in-law, Aline and George Desjardins; and two brothers, Paul and Conrad Villeneuve.

There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 30, 12:00 PM at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Rev. Donald J. Manfred, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bombay.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
