■ BROWNVILLE — The village Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Monday at the village office, 216 Brown Blvd., to adopt the 2012-13 budget and conduct any other business that may occur.

n A national Day of Prayer ceremony will be held at noon Thursday in front of Watertown City Hall, 245 Washington St. The event is being coordinated through Watertown First Baptist Church.

n LOWVILLE — Lewis County General Hospital’s Wellness Committee will hold a pair of half-hour breast cancer educational sessions at 4 and 7 p.m. Monday in the Medical Arts Building conference room. Reservations at 376-5087 are not required but would be appreciated.

n LOWVILLE — The Republican presidential primary Tuesday cost Lewis County about $50,000 while only 409 county residents voted, County Manager David H. Pendergast reported at Wednesday’s special Board of Legislators meeting. That reflects a cost of $122.25 per voter.
