MASSENA — Two Massena teens were charged with reckless driving following an investigation into a Friday afternoon incident that village police said involved speeding in the area of a school bus that was dropping passengers.

Police also charged Trevor J. Secore, 18, of 9378 Route 56, with speeding.

Police also charged Eric J. DeShane, 18, of 733 Route 37C. He additionally was cited with unauthorized possession of fireworks and speeding following a traffic stop at 3:23 p.m. Friday.

Police allege that at the time of the stop, Mr. DeShane was in possession of several fireworks, including bottle rockets and firecrackers.

Both men were released on appearance tickets.
