WATERTOWN - The Massena Girls Lacrosse team upped its record to 6-1 by outscoring a determined Manlius Peeble Hill squad 12-11 at Watertown High School.
Dominque Valancius (2-2) broke an 11-11 tie with two minutes to play and Erin Francis led the winners with four goals and one assist. Megan Poupore tallied three goals with one assist and Shaydi Oakes chipped in two goals and one assist.
Shannon Casey scored once to back a 15-save effort by Elisha Jacobs. Tess Jaworski generated five goals and two assists for Manlius Pebble Hill which played without a substitute.
