COLTON - The Friends of Higley Flow State Park, Inc., is sponsoring a Prepare the Park Day at Higley Flow State Park beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The event is part of the statewide I Love My Park Day organized by Parks & Trails New York and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.
The objective of the local event at Higley Flow State Park is to Prepare the Park for summer by performing a variety of small chores such as walking the nature trails to clear small debris.
Volunteers will need to sign in at the park office. There are no tolls to enter the park during this time of year. The park office is located on the right immediately after entering the park.
