Gouverneur man indicted for menacing, reckless endangerment

CANTON — A Gouverneur man was indicted Friday for felony second-degree menacing and felony first-degree reckless endangerment by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.

Daniel Hughes, 49, 1580 Route 11, is accused of having and shooting a muzzleloader in the direction of Bonnie Turner Oct. 31 while inside a residence, according to court documents.

Mr. Hughes was also indicted for second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Others indicted by the grand jury include:

Marcio Giacco, 48, Moravia, and William J. Mumm Jr., 26, Lansing, indicted for second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. They are accused of possessing 4.5 pounds of marijuana Jan. 8 in the town of Waddington, according to court documents.
