GOUVERNEUR — A second arrest was made Monday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies stemming from a Saturday night burglary on County Route 12.

Franklin J. Ablan, 18, of 96 Williams St., was charged with felony first-degree burglary and felony fourth-degree conspiracy.

Deputies said Mr. Ablan entered the residence of Brittany-Fay White and assaulted Nathan E. Foster and Jacob D. Vanornum. Mr. Ablan was arraigned in Town Court and taken to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

Deputies charged his codefendant, Nico J. Devito, 21, of 25 Sterling St., on Sunday with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault,third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. He also was held on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
