THERESA – Five men were interrupted Monday afternoon when, Jefferson County sheriffs deputies allege, they went onto posted property in search of scrap metal.
Summoned to town of Theresa Court to face trespass charges are three Theresa men, Rush F. Reynolds, 27, of 26415 Route 411, James C. Cook, 37, County Route 46, and Dustin P. Countryman, 26, of 36267 County Route 136, and two Richville men, Jeremy J. Prashaw, 32, and Philip D. Roberts, 29, both of 110 Main St.
The alleged intrusion occurred about 2 p.m. on property off Route 411, owned by ASLA Inc., Hazlehurst, Ga.
