UNLAWFUL GROWING - MASSENA - Canton-based state police charged Daniel Besaw, 25, of Canton with unlawfully growing cannabis as part of an investigation into an incident reported at 10:35 a.m. April 30 in the town of Canton. Keith McCauley, 26, of Canton was previously charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with that incident, and Larissa M. Carlin, 21, of Canton was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Cuza L. Gales, 48, of Norfolk with fourth-degree criminal mischief for preventing an emergency call and second-degree harassment following a domestic dispute reported at 7:22 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Norfolk.



PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENT - PARISHVILLE - Canton-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on Keener Road at Pumpkill Hill Road in the town of Parishville. The vehicle was operated by Elizabeth L. Bronson, 27, of Hannawa Falls.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday on the Austin Ridge Road in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Jennifer L. Phillips, 34, of Madrid and Kathleen M. Farmer, 61, of Norwood.



CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Keith J. McCauley, 26, of Canton with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child and Larissa M. Carlin, 21, of Canton with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident reported at 10:35 a.m. Monday in the town of Canton.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Jeremiah A. Smith, 32, of Canton with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 5:28 p.m. Saturday on County Route 14 in the town of Canton. Troopers said he had three or more suspensions on his operation privileges. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.



UNTAXED CIGARETTES - ROSSIE - Gouverneur-based state police charged Karen E. Vogel, 56, of Black River with possession of untaxed cigarettes following a traffic stop at 7 p.m. Monday on state Route 11 in the town of Rossie.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - COLTON - Canton-based state police said Emileen A. Garvin was involved in a one-vehicle property damage accident at 8 a.m. Monday on state Route 56 near Cove Road in the town of Colton.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - COLTON - Canton-based state police said Craig W. Streit, 22, of Edwards was involved in a one-vehicle accident at 7:49 p.m. Monday on County Route 24 near County Route 27 in the town of Pierrepont.
