Richard (Dicky) F. DeLine, 66, of Howard St, Massena, NY, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 at his home. Born in Syracuse, he is the son of Donald DeLine and Katherine McConaha of Syracuse, NY. Richard had worked 40 years as a conductor for CSX railroad (formerly Conrail) before retiring in 2006. Richard enjoyed camping, cooking and baking, gardening and his many, many cats. Richard is survived by his wife of 12 years, Barbara K. DeLine. Also surviving are his two sons, Brett (Amy) and Richard (Durana); his step-children Megan (Howie) and Adam; and his grandchildren, Nicole, William, Lucas and James. Richard will be sorely missed by his brothers Donald (Carol), Thomas, Jeff (Linda) and his sisters Mari (Judy), Carol and Donna (Tom). Calling hours will be held at Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews Street, Massena, NY 13662 on Saturday, May 5 between the hours of 12 to 2 PM. Contributions may be made to the Massena Humane Society.
