ADAMS CENTER — Royal T. Simpson, 19, of 20290 Caird Road, was arrested Thursday night by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies on a charge of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

Also cited with harassment, he was released without bail by Adams Town Justice Karen A. Peebles, and awaits prosecution in Rodman Town Court.

Deputies allege that on Wednesday afternoon during an argument in his residence with Katelynn Moulton, 19, he pushed her against a wall and applied pressure to her throat.
