Peter A. LaBarbera Jr., 50, of 284 E. Main St., was charged by Watertown police at 5:16 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Factory Street with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation, driving without a license, operating out of class, failure to obey a traffic control device and passing a red light.

Police said he possessed three tablets of Suboxone that were found in a metal capsule on his key ring. He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, pending arraignment.
