The Ogdensburg Free Academy Interscholastic Athletic Department announces that it is proud and honored to be hosting the 89th Van Dusen Invitational Track Meet on Saturday, May 19th. This is an all-day event with an official start time of 11 a.m.
This historic event is one of the oldest track meets in New York State and is the longest sporting tradition in Section 10. As in previous years, several schools from Northern New York will be converging on Ogdensburg to participate in this extraordinary momentous event, featuring Boys and Girls Varsity Track and Field teams.
Programs and t-shirts will be on sale to commemorate this highly prestigous track meet. A concession stand will be open throughout the day.
Volunteers are sill needed and would be greatly appreciated. Anyone interested should please call OFA at 393-0900 and ask to speak with Katie Geary to be placed on the list.
The residents of Ogdensburg, as well as surrounding communities are invited to come out to the Home of the Blue Devils and support our extremely talented local tracksters. Lets show some Blue Devil pride and pack the Alton W. Elliott stadium, said OFA Athletic Director Tony Bjork.
The admission cost is $2 per student/child and $3 for adults.
