CANTON — One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Route 11 in the town of Canton, according to police.

Fire and rescue squads from Canton and Rensselaer Falls, as well as state police and St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies, responded to the scene just before 4 p.m.

A deputy at the scene said that one person had died.
