CORTLAND - Ogdensburg’s Chelsea Martin experienced the thrill of winning a major collegiate championship on Saturday as a freshman member of the SUNY Cortland Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Martin played much of the second half as second ranked Cortland, defeated Buffalo State 12-5 in the SUNYAC Championship game.

The 17-1 Dragons will advance to the NCAA Tourney.ment and will host a first round game on Wednesday.

Martin, who scored a goal in the semi-finals, is OFA’s all-time leading scorer.
