NORWOOD Breton LaRose struck out 10 and went 2-for-2 to lead the Ogdensburg Free Academy baseball team to a win over Norwood-Norfolk in a nonleague game Saturday.
LaRose held the Flyers (3-2 overall) to just four hits.
Brendan Arsenault went 3-for-4, including a home run, for OFA (2-1). Konnor Murdock also went 3-for-4 and Kinnon LaRose went 2-for-4 for the Blue Devils.
ALEXANDRIA 6, LAFARGEVILLE 5 (8)
Colby Hunter drove home the winning run with a single in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Purple Ghosts rallied to beat the Red Knights in a D Division game at Alexandria Bay.
Alexandria (2-7) scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to send the game into extra innings.
Matt Strader had three hits, including two doubles, for LaFargeville (0-10, 0-9).
SOUTH JEFFERSON 6, IHC 2
Nick Hallett drove in three runs on two hits to help guide the Spartans to a crossover victory.
Thomas Gordinier added two hits for South Jefferson (5-5, 4-3).
Santino Alteri and Cyrus Beckman smacked two hits apiece for Immaculate Heart Central (4-3, 3-3).
Lowville 8, Holland Patent 1
Alex Clark finished with two RBIs as the host Red Raiders won the nonleague game at Lowville.
Billy Larkins also singled in two runs for Lowville (11-1).
NORWOOD-NORFOLK 4, MALONE 3
Jessica Harvey scored the eventual winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Flyers (3-5) knocked off Malone in a nonleague game in Norwood.
Harvey finished with two hits for the Flyers. Katie LaVoie led Malone (4-3) with two hits.
ALEXANDRIA 2, LAFARGEVILLE 0
Jordan Bush struck out 12 and allowed only four hits en route to a Frontier League D Division shutout of the Red Knights at Alexandria Bay.
Bush also finished 2-for-3 for Alexandria (5-4). Annie Griswold and Summer Umstead had RBI hits for the Purple Ghosts in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively.
Losing pitcher Amber Klock, who struck out 10, had a double for LaFargeville (5-6, 5-5).
Spartans Split Pair
South Jefferson lost 4-0 to Chenango Valley, then beat perennial state Class D power Afton 4-1 in a pair of nonleague games at Adams Center.
Taylor Brown and Jessica Vaadi each had two hits for South Jefferson in the loss to Chenango Valley.
Amanda Roberts finished with three hits and Jackie Decker had two in the win over Afton. Heather Williams and Brooke LaLone combined on a three-hitter.
COMETS SPLIT GAMES
Karintha Mysliecek went 3-for-3 and drove in a run as Sandy Creek beat Afton 6-0 in nonleague action at Sandy Creek.
Chelsea Claflin tossed a shutout and struck out six for Sandy Creek (11-2).
The Comets lost the night cap to Chenango Valley, 17-5.
TICONDEROGA 16, COPENHAGEN 6
Megan Campney drove in three runs on three hits, including a double and a triple, to help lead the Sentinels to victory during the Mudville Tournament.
Brooke Spaulding supplied a hit and three RBIs for Copenhagen.
COPENHAGEN 12, ST. LAWRENCE CENTRAL 4
Taylor Murtha and Morgan Moore each drove in two runs on one hit to help boost the Golden Knights to victory over the Larries during the Mudville Tournament.
Rachel Muncy went 2-for-3 for Copenhagen (4-8).
Haleigh Agans drove in two runs on two hits, including a double and a triple, and Noelle Rufa added a pair of hits for St. Lawrence Central (8-2).

Lakota Square tallied five goals and Seth Oakes added one goal and four assists as Salmon River (8-0) defeated the Red Storm in an NAC game in Saranac Lake.
Russ Oakes added two goals for Salmon River. Jeff Stevens scored four goals for Saranac Lake (1-8).
Watertown 15, Syracuse East 9
Eric Soderquist scored five goals as the Cyclones improved to 11-1 with a nonleague win at Syracuse.
Shayne Watson, Brad McKinney, Mitchell Rick and Andrew Keenan each added two goals for WHS, while goalie Matt Netto made 11 saves.
Andrew Jackson scored three goals and had two assists for Syracuse East (2-11).
CANTON 13, LOWVILLE 6
A seven-goal fourth quarter sealed the win for the Bears in a nonleague win over the Red Raiders in Lowville.
Jesse Gilbert generated six goals and one assist for Canton (8-2). Eb Foote logged five goals and two assists.
Lowville falls to 2-8.
OFA 18, SALMON RIVER 8
Nicole Hammond scored five goals for the Blue Devils (5-6, 5-4) in a Northern Athletic Conference win over Salmon River in Ogdensburg.
Kaitlin Sheppard scored four goals with one assist, and Molly Morrow and Nikki Holmes each scored twice for OFA.
Tsi Herne, Kiera Thompson and Tewasherake Barnes each scored twice for the Shamrocks (0-8).
