WATSON — A Harrisville man was charged Sunday with flicking a lit cigarette into the face of another man, causing an eye injury.

Lewis County sheriff’s deputies charged Randy J. Myers, 25, of 14191 Park Road, Harrisville, with third-degree assault, answerable in Watson Town Court.

Mr. Myers was accused of causing the injury, which required treatment at Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, on Saturday during a dispute with the other man, whom deputies did not name, at 6802 River Road in the town of Watson.

An investigation into the incident continues, deputies said.
