HARASSMENT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jordan P. Yells, 21, of Waterloo with second-degree harassment at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday following an incident at Maxfield’s. Police said Yells grabbed another subject by the neck.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Garrison W. Viau, 59, of Winthrop with disorderly conduct, an open container violation and public urination following an incident at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday. Police said they responded to a report that a an intoxicated male was standing outside a local business calling people names and swearing at people as they entered an unidentified store. Police said they located Viau outside of the business with an open container of alcohol, and he then urinated on a building. Viau was released on appearance tickets.

CROSSWALK VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Gloria L. Hunter, no age or address provided by police, for failure to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk following a traffic stop at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday on Lawrence Avenue. Police said the crosswalk violation occurred on Main Street.

2054 Received a report of a truck towing a trailer on Sandstone Drive with no lights on the trailer. Officerresponded.

2055 Received request from the Sheriff’s Department to be observant for a vehicle involved in a hit and runaccident in Colton.
